Prepare to embark on a four-day journey immersed in the rhythm, energy, and artistry of jazz dance. Discover the history of jazz and explore all the branches of the jazz tree. From the film screen into the studio – Uprooted jazz dance intensive is a collective of incredible jazz dance educators who altogether will bring you another level of complete education and understanding of dance.

Immerse Yourself in Jazz Dance Excellence

Led by esteemed instructors and in collaboration with The House of Jazz Company, our intensive promises a transformative exploration of various dance styles suitable for all levels of experience. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just beginning your journey, our diverse range of classes will enrich your skills and deepen your passion for dance. Discover the roots and all the branches of the wonderful jazz tree. You will explore the roots in Africa and India, learn the history of social jazz dance and the authentic jazz world with Jreena Green who will take you from the Charleston to the Lindy hop, enjoy tap with Annette Walker, discover the world of codification with Cam (Jack Cole) and Zak (Matt Mattox based isolation technique) experience musical theatre workshops with one of the dancers in Moulin Rouge and immerse yourself in the commercial and Jazz Funk fusion world of the current era.
