Reunited at The Jacksonville Dance Festival
For the first time in over 2 years the creative team were able to be together IN-PERSON for a screening! The Jacksonville Dance Theatre invited us to be a part of their dance festival. Our co-creator/choreographer, Zak Nemorin taught the students and then the film played on a big screen. We are now booking in-person live educational events for the film. After an amazing and busy fall festival season, we have two more great festivals.
Fort Lauderdale International film festival is happening virtually Nov 4th – 21st with two in-person screening on November 15th at 1pm EST and 17th at 7.30pm EST. #fliff36
Followed by the International Black Film Festival Nashville. Virtual ONLY Dec 2nd – 5th. Screening Dec 5th at 12pm CST. #IBFF21

Walter Reade – Dance on Camera Screening
We had an incurable night screening IN-PERSON at The Walter Reade Theatre, Lincoln Center on July 18th. We would like to thank the festival, everyone at Dance Films Association and to all the cast and crew who came out to support!

Micheaux Film Festival
UPROOTED screened live at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood as part of the Micheaux Film Festival, winning the Outstanding Feature Documentary award!! Our producer Lisa Donmall-Reeve was present to receive the award in person.
